Let me tell a story from the beginning.
Last winter, my best friend started dating somebody. Unfortunately that relationship opened up something awful in my friend and it left him vulnerable. He wasn’t himself and there were several moments I thought I would lose him.
Eventually things ended (as all things do) and my buddy was himself again.
Late that spring I get a text message from my him telling me he just wrote his best vocals to date… and the words were about that hell he endured.
Not everybody we date (and/or are hurt by) is evil. Sometimes good people just can’t survive together.
