Jersey’s own Pop Punk powerhouse, FRND CRCL, is back with another hit! I said it when I published the interview with them back in November; “FRND CRCL is on a path take over the Pop Punk scene.” With yesterday’s release of “Loose Cannon”, the band has once again proven why their name should be a staple in the Pop Punk scene!
FRND CRCL should be on every music fan’s radar by now. These guys have demonstrated time and time again why they deserve a top spot. “Loose Cannon” is a perfect example of a song that everyone will love. This will undoubtably be the song that you play on repeat for the next few months! The beginning of “Loose Cannon” is the perfect hook to grab the listeners. “Well I heard what you said about me, and I’m not mad at all. These things just happen, you might as well move on.” The guitar chords and vocals remind me of a New Found Glory style introduction and I am all for it! The bridge after the second chorus is where the instrumentals really shine. The sick guitar riffs and heavy drumming is what will have kids going nuts in the crowds of a FRND CRCL show. With catchy lyrics, mesmerizing instrumentals and a bridge reminiscent of a Blink 182 song that everyone will sing along to, FRND CRCL has released another Pop Punk anthem! Make sure to check out the new single on the blog’s Spotify playlist: After Hours Review!
In addition to being able to review the awesome new single, I am proud to announce FRND CRCL’s album release show! The boys will be playing the “Internet Noise” release show on May 29th, 2020 at Creep Records in Philadelphia, PA! These guys will be playing with the support of Goalkeeper, Moment to Capitalize, and Off Guard ( a LI favorite of mine)! Check out the show flyer below!
