Pacific Ridge Records is back with “A Tribute to New Found Glory”! This is the 6th in a series of tribute albums that have been going strong since 2003 (A Tribute to Blink 182, A Tribute to the Movielife, A Tribute to the Get Up Kids, A Tribute to Taking Back Sunday, A Tribute to Senses Fail). This album consists of 20+ New Found Glory covers that will drop throughout the remainder of the year. Pacific Ridge Records is planning on releasing 2-4 NFG covers a month, from bands like The Animal In Me, The Anchor, Jonah Matranga, ChuggaBoom and more. Today, we have the honor of premiering the cover of “Hit or Miss” by Everyone Dies In Utah!
Everyone Dies In Utah absolutely killed this NFG cover! For those of you unfamiliar with them, Everyone Dies In Utah is a metalcore band out of Texas. What impressed me the most is how well they matched the Pop Punk vibe of New Found Glory. All you have to do is close your eyes and listen and you’re immediately thrown back into the late 90’s/early 2000’s! This cover is just as fun as the original track.
