Carve a Path’s debut single had more of a Alternative/Pop Punk vibe to it. The follow up single, “The Pain Will Stop”, shows off his Punk Rock roots. The song is filled with the classic Punk Rock guitar chords that send you on a trip down memory lane. It gives off a lot of Green Day vibes and I am here for it! The theme of “The Pain Will Stop” couldn’t have come at a better time. With the way the world is now, it seems that the pain and anguish that most people are going through may never leave. The opening line of this song is what hits home most. “When does the pain stop? When does it go away? Just want to be free again, want to be me again”. When we are in such pain, it truly feels like you’ve lost yourself and the song paints that picture perfectly. No matter what kind of pain you are dealing with, Carve a Path is here to tell you that it won’t last forever. “Soon the pain will stop, soon it will go away, just want to be free again, want to be me again.”
