Tomorrows Bad Seeds is a Reggae Rock band hailing from South Bay, Los Angeles. The four piece band consists of Moises Juarez (vocals), Sean Chapman (vocals/guitar), Matthew McEwan (guitar), Patrick Salmon (drums), and Steve Aguilar (bass). A little over a month ago, the band released their newest single, “Surf Trip”. This acoustic song is a banger and will be loved by everyone!
When I first heard the song, I was immediately hooked. The trippy guitar chords that start off the song are infectious. I love the charismatic way Tomorrows Bad Seeds started this track. You can’t help but nod your head and rock along to it. I was dying to see where the song was going to go and how the vocals would pair with the sound of the guitar chords. Fortunately, Tomorrows Bad Seeds blew me away! The vocals compliment the instrumentals perfectly. One of the coolest features of this song is the difference in the vocals between verses. I love the way the band was able to incorporate the classic Reggae Rock style singing in the first verse and throw in a rap flow on the second. In addition, fans will love the lyrics just as much as I do. “Now I wanna go, anywhere with you up the coast. Cuz I know some places that I know you’ve been, where we can vibe and just get high.”
Tomorrows Bad Seeds continues to prove why they are a force to be reckoned with within the music scene. “Surf Trip” is an incredible display of the pure talent that this band possesses.
